About the Role
Lead end-to-end execution of machine vision projects, from requirement gathering to final deployment.
• Understand customer requirements and design appropriate machine vision solutions.
• Configure, program, and integrate machine vision systems, cameras, lenses, lighting, and related hardware. • Conduct feasibility studies, proofs of concept (POCs), and system testing.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Lead and manage the project execution team by assigning responsibilities, monitoring project progress, providing technical guidance, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring successful project delivery within timelines.
• Perform on-site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of machine vision solutions. • Prepare detailed project documentation, reports, and technical manuals.
• Provide technical training and support to customers and internal teams.
• Ensure timely project delivery with high quality and adherence to safety standards.
Requirements
BE in Electronics / Instrumentation / Electrical.
6–7 years of hands-on experience in industrial machine vision systems.
Experience in leading or managing technical/project execution teams.
Strong knowledge of machine vision cameras, optics, lighting, and industrial automation.
Experience with vision software/platforms (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, Halcon, OpenCV, etc.).
Good understanding of PLCs, industrial communication protocols, and automation systems (preferred). • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and project management abilities.
Preferred Attributes • Ability to independently handle customer interactions and project execution. • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Willingness to travel for installations and support.
Proactive, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
